Reds like this have been pretty common lately, both on the shallow flats and also in most other traditional areas. Fat stocky, just flat out mean. Tails worked low during the mid afternoons over grass beds have been doing a good job. When it's topwater time it can be hard to keep it away from them when targeting big trout.
