Bad photo, good fish.

Here's Ross Hammond again with a solid trout caught among many angry reds. Keep pulling through those reds and you may get a surprise. ( We've caught four trout over nine pounds this spring doing this...) The shoulders on these shallow fish have been impressive.

It's a shame to catch trout like this though, and then have poor pictures to remember them by. It's hard to see digital camera screens when there is a lot of glare, but watch your angles, backgrounds, and always use 'flash'   to compensate for shaded faces. We're learning though.
