Funky bite today. JD picks up some good trout just laying up on the shoreline in about thigh deep water. It took slowly noodling a tail thru scattered mullet to catch them. He released a fat one about 28" earlier but I couldn't get to him fast enough for a photo.

What a fitting day.  JD made several long wades and caught some good trout, but exactly one year ago today, he was lying on a hospital bed recovering from a quad by-pass surgery. You just can't keep a good man down. Thanks to Doctors and modern technology, the knowledge JD has gained over many years will continue on as well, and now better than ever.  Good job.
