We stayed hooked up from about 2 till 4:30pm.
The bait was on the bank but most of the fish were laying out a little deeper. It took a slow loping retrieve with tails near the bottom to coax them. Several times we were all bowed up at once.
Bryan is from West Virginia and boarded with jeans & cowboy boots. We didn't know until we dropped the anchor that he didn't have waders. He was just going to go for it and wade that way. Not a good idea in mid 60F water.
After dropping the others off, a quick trip back to the dock made his day a little more comfortable. It was Bryan's first wade trip...not too shabby of an introduction. He proved to be a good fisherman and we all had a blast.
